a beautiful experience for those who love to walk in nature. There are two ways to climb to the castle one from the torroella de montgrí side, where you can leave the car in an area equipped with water fountains, baths and picnic area, the other from the side of the hermitage de santa catarina that you reach by passing on dirt roads. both of the cobbles climb up to the cross (the creu) and from there climb to the castle. it is a mule tracker quite impervious with unstable stones, oate comfortable shoes and possibly sticks. the entrance to the castle is free and free, a spiral staircase leads to the top of the castle from which you enjoy an incredible view.
Val la pena per la curiositat de que el castell sols té les muralles en molt bon estat. Es pot pujar per una torra fins dalt de la muralla, i recórrer tot el perímetre, gaudint de bones panoràmiques. El camí per accedir fins el castell, es pedregós, i sense ombres, atenció amb la calor.
Una excursió lleugera entre pujar i baixar) però amb final feliç: vistes immillorables. La plana del Ter al sud, les illes Medes a l'est i el golf de Roses i Cap de Creus al Nord. Aneu ben calçats que el camí es pedregós.
