You really are in Spain when you have the 10 euro menu del dia. It appears a bit rough and ready but the amount of local Spanish people piling in at whatever time of year you visit tells a story. There are always 5 or 6 choices on the 3 course menu del dia. The food is freshly cooked. Nothing comes out of the freezer (except the helado), into the microwave and on to your plate here. It is a noisy, frantic, organised chaos, great value for money restaurant serving authentic Spanish food. The post lunch, pre-siesta stroll along the beach is so peaceful...........
Es un sitio genial, bocadillos con pan recien hecho, aconsejo el de calamares, está buenísimo y abundante y ni que decir de las tostas, expectaculares. Las pizzas las hacen también ellos y están riquísimas. Aconsejo ir a probarlas.
The place was packed for lunch. 90% spanish people. Lunch menu at €15 with salaf, lobster-risotto, grilled chicken plus coffee. A bottle of wine was also included at this price. More than good enough for lunch.
