El Santo - Table reservation

El Santo is a gem in the quay district. This is so much better than what typically passes for Mexican food -- it is full of authentic flavours and everything is thoughtfully presented. There are so many incredible options to choose from and I don't think you can go wrong. If you are looking for large portions dripping in cheese, this is not the place for you. The design of the restaurant is gorgeous: modern, warm, stylish and inviting. The only complaint is that the music was a touch too loud for easy conversation. We were driving so had to pass on the beautiful cocktails but will definitely make a return trip on Skytrain.

First time visit. Went with work colleagues. We did the trio of guacomole and salsas. They were served fast and fresh and they were oh so good.I had the Chicken con Pollo. The tiny soft tortillas were very fresh and the chicken, chorizo mix although it looked a bit unappetizing was delish. I would like order a side vegetable of some sort next time and a wine. I had a lovely cranberry, club soda, lime spritz which was very refreshing. Very fresh food....really good.

very slow service food were good/ extremely long to come out tho pricey for tacos lots of free parking around family friendly If I had to choose 1 dish :

Excellent Mexican restaurant in New West (all in Vancouver)This place has a great atmosphere and wonderful staff The food is amazing.

I've been several times and the experience has always been decent They have some items that are good and others that miss the mark.
