I never miss an opportunity to taste a few local specialities while I'm in Gijon. We have become accustomed to ordering several dishes to share, for the greatest pleasure of our taste buds. The quality and freshness of the food is top and constant. The crustaceans are taken from the aquarium and prepared immediately. I also recommend ordering garlic chicken, ham croquettes, grilled fish and lobster rice. All accompanied by the unavoidable apple cider. The service is very friendly and competent.
We went there because we were told it was best place in Gijon for Paella. We were not disappointed. We had the Arozze Burgre. Excellent. We did not order the menu, but there is a very reasonably priced menu option that includes wine, starter, paella and desert. Definitely worth looking into. Will definitely visit again. Reservation definitely needed to ensure paella and table. We went on a Friday night and were able to make reservation that afternoon.
We absolutely loved this place. Great food, great service. All the food was fresh and delicious, and their wines were outstanding. Will definitely go back when I visit Gijon again.
The seafood was amazing. The price was a little high but we loved meeting the owners and the staff. They were very friendly and made you feel at home.
