We enjoyed the atmosphere and ambience at Restaurante El Dedo de Dios. It’s a wonderful place if you speak Spanish and if you don’t bother about the food. When we had our table and the many waiters realized that we were not Spanish they ignored us for a long time and took orders from people who had their tables after us. Well, at last we managed to order the famous fish soup, caldo de pescado, Drinks we had to order with another waiter. It took ages for the soup to get ready and it wasn’t worth waiting for. Thin tasteless soup without spices, a big slice of cheap fish with lots of bones, half a potato... But if you van forget about the food and the service this restaurant is really af charming place

I had dinner at this wonderful restaurant following a recommendation of the the front desk staff of the hotel where we were staying. The restaurant is very big and has wonderful views of one of Puerto de la Nieves beaches. Our server was supernice and recommended us to eat grilled sama a local king of fish. We also had a very good salad, papas arrugas and fried calamari. We wanted to eat there again at the end of our trip but it was closed.

Restaurant is massive and well located, but the food and service are very poor. The place seems to be quite popular with locals, and the treatment is definitely better for those speaking Spanish or German. Although my Spanish is not that bad, its not my first language, so its upsetting when sth like that happened. Prices are not that high, but its simply not a pleasant place to have a meal. 2 stars for the view though.

Firstly I don’t understand the average 3.5 rating and the poor reviews. Our grilled Lubina (sea bass) was simply the best fish we have had anywhere and we eat a lot of fish! The only amusing point about the place is the allergens menu that needs attention! Even the meat platter contains milk, crustaceans, fish, molluscs and celery! Ha ha!
