Eight O'clock Coffee Co

I recently bought a bag of their Whole Bean Colombian Coffee. When I purchased the beans, they had 2 months to go before they were considered to be expired. But when I brewed them in my french press, they tasted expired: rancid oils, weak and bitter flavor, etc. I was bummed and decided to give their 800 number a call. The woman I spoke to on the other end of the line was SO NICE! She gave me reasons for maybe why they tasted expired; she acted professionally, friendly, and apologetic; she sent me a refund in the mail; and she eluded to talking to her team about improvements. She took my criticism into consideration and made me feel heard. So not 5 stars because of the bad beans, but 4 stars because of the great customer service/relations!

Zero customer service and stale coffee! If you absolutely need Eight O’Clock coffee, buy it anywhere but the source: I ordered 6 packs of Central Highlands from Eight O’Clock via their website and every pack had an expiration date of only 3 months away, compared to a pack purchased at ShopRite which I’d had for 2 months already, but was several months fresher. I made 5 attempts to contact them of this issue (and included photos of the expiration date) and all but the last attempt thanked me for my concern but made no attempt to resolve. My last communication was entirely ignored.

I have been trying to find French Roast whole beans for months and even the people here don't know where I can get it. What's wrong with this picture?
