We love afternoon tea so we decided to check out this spot since we were going to be in Charleston for the day. Afternoon tea is $45 per person, or $50 if you order champagne, and they require a 48-hour reservation and also cancellation window. If it's your first time doing afternoon tea, you'll probably enjoy it because the food was good. However, the clotted cream was strangely watery, and tasted almost like cream cheese. Small and quaint little place that I must have walked past twenty times before I even realized it was a restaurant! Very glad that we checked it out because
Food was good but not great. Also served on too large of a platter for the amount of the food given. Very limited beverages and no dessert.
Highly recommend this quaint, quiet spotThe candle-light, rustic vibe is perfect for a date night on an otherwise busy East Bay Street.
