While all Dunkin Donuts are pretty much alike to me, this is the one that I visit most often (nearly every morning), and I 've formed some opinions about it. If you go in the morning, it will be busy, but nearly always quick and efficient. There is usually a manager working, and the servers are polite and perform their jobs well. However, if you go in the afternoon, you have a good chance of running into the slowest worker I have ever come across. It is very comical that he works in fast food ; I have on occasion waited over an hour for my simple (Large Iced Coffee, Regular) order. The story that I 've recounted to the manager (apparently without consequence, as he is still employed there) is that once I went into the DD in the early afternoon for a coffee. He took my order, began to make the coffee, and then wandered around for ~15 minutes idly restocking the straws and napkins while I waited. He then finished making my coffee, but turned his back to me and stood facing the donut case, lackadaisically shaking my coffee and not responding to my verbal cues. Another ten minutes passed before I 'd paid and left. Seriously.
Staff is polite and service is quick despite so many people going to and from Amherst for college or work that stop by for coffee and doughnuts. My only advice when going to this dunkin during rush hour, is be prepared to not be able to find space in the drive through line since this Dunkin is a favorite of a lot of people passing through Sunderland so the line does fill up quick sometimes
If you want to be ignored, feel invisible, wonder if you maybe died and are still wandering between the nether-regions then I suggest you walk into (not drive up, they actually take your order if you drive up) this Dunkin(g). You may get a few glances but you won't be helped.
I've come here several times with the drive-thru line extending into the road. Just to make matters worse, they lock the doors for walk-ins. Worst Dunkin' I've ever been at. YOU NEED TO HIRE MORE PEOPLE!! Finally had enough and decided to leave a review.
