had recommended a great lunch from the man who worked in the fishing business in port la nouvelle. the place was always packed with French people a good sign. most people have eaten the menus, but we decided to go a la carte. had some delicous fresh fish the scallops were huge in size and taste! we had gone from l 'ecluse sainte lucie, because that was out of order (about 4 km) and it was worth definitiw. as we were on stock, we wanted to get a taxi to house in port la nouvelle. the waitress helped us to book one, but there was no available, so the owner of the hotel drove us back to our boat, which was well above the call of duty. he refused to take money, so we probably gave him a bottle of wine a bit 'cheel for newcastle', but we have appreciated the art geste very much.
Warm welcome and excellent cuisine. The dishes are provided, the quality products. You have to have a good appetite to finish everything! Outside season the hotel is quiet, clean rooms and very comfortable bedding. Address to keep when you're in the corner...
I attended the first fruits of the storm. Already impressive without the giant waves of the next day.
