that's one of my pubs, if I want a chilled drink at the river all year round. in summer they sit out next to the river and the beer garden at the back is open. the beer garden can sometimes be opened in winter with heating, so that people are warm. even without this area, there is always a lot of space to sit, as the pub has several etagens and you can have a view of the river, even if you sit inside. the back has leather rests along the walls and there is a separate dining room on the top floor as well as another establishment that you can book for private functions. taking into account all these different areas and the number of people who could be there at the same time, I must say that the pub is quite busy at times. it becomes clearer when everyone tries to order from the same bar that usually only serve two or three people and it can take a while. but they do their best to get to everyone quickly and also be very friendly and nice so that I personally do not wait. the drink selection is quite good, with several crafting and ales along with the usual brands and eating is quite decent. this is definitiw my kneipe of choice in the opposite, as it is simple, convenient and there is always space, so if they are looking for a place, it can be worth checking it.
Had a really lovely evening here last Friday. The staff were so friendly our waitress Justyna couldn't do enough for us. The place has great views across the Thames an extensive food drink menu. Had a main meal, which tasted great excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend a visit. I hope to return soon!
Great pub, facilitated our IT networking event very well. The function room was more than capable. The food provided was good and nourishing, the large variety of drinks available was also good. The location and ease of finding it also contributed. I’d certainly book it if I needed a place to do a similar event.
Good customer service polite and friendly staff social distancing observed great views over the Thames best fish and chips I have eaten. The only gripe I had was when the manager said you've got 15 minutes to drink up leave this tone of voice was rude.
