my wife and I visited diya for a lunch under the week and enjoyed it, although it was not cheap for lunch menus. the restaurant offers only -la-carte dishes for lunch, but gives 30% discount on most main dishes. the place was empty when we arrived there (13:00), but later two more tables were occupied. the interieur is beautifully designed and beautifully illuminated - not too dark as at some places, but has a nice cozy atmosphere. it is essentially a medium sized room with a small bar. in summer there are sitting opportunities in the open in a beautiful garden. as an appetizer we had Papadam cracker (lens bread, 2 euro) and lens soup (4,90 €). to the good papadams there was a mint yogurt sauce, a sweet sauce and some inlaid vegetables (chutney), which was somewhat too sour and sharp for our taste and not very delicate, but nevertheless interesting. we like to eat sharp (and warm) very much, but I think the gurkens could be milder. the suppe was very nice, the lenses were well cooked, but not sour, and the spice was mild and wise curry and bhindi lamb (8,90e for lunch) - in butter fried lambs in curry sauce with swirling, tomato and okra. the taste of both dishes was complicated and interesting, and they were served with very good saffron rice. the courts could be a little bigger, but were quite saturating. the service was in order and the skir was quickly arrived. this is a place we will definitely visit again. for lunch it is a bit expensive, but for a romantic dinner, a special occasion or for Indian food with above average quality we recommend it.

my wife and I were alerted by her mother to this restaurant that had read a review in the local time. always looking for good food, especially if it is local, we wanted to try it out. we arrived in the early evening and although it was calm at the beginning, it soon began to fill a good sign. the service may have been stiff (a smile and a good evening can make a big difference), but it was the food we were here for. the menu offer was curious. I have eaten Indian cuisine in many countries and this was the first time that I have seen swashing rings (where was the onion bhaji a staple food on all Indian menus)? we chose the mixed appetizers (Tandoori chicken, samosas, pakoras etc). . most of the appetizers were crushed and fried. the vegetable-samosa was so large and filled with potato that it was so big that it was halved us. All had a similar taste and was fad.The main dishes were also of moderate quality. the fish curry of my mother was boiled and tasted terrible. my lamb dish was not better. the Nan-Brot was served openly for the elements, making it very quickly cold. overall, eating was expensive for what it was. as far as the Indian cuisine is concerned, she was of course so, but maybe she was oriented to the local taste. if they are on the market for authentic Indian cuisine, this restaurant is nothing for them.

this is a place that they would not find so easy because it is not in the usual city center. it lies hidden between quiet residencies and a beautiful quiet, quiet and well maintained place. eating here is surprisingly Indian, considering that all this is served so western Indian food on many places. the menu is authentic Indian, apart from a few directed. eating is fantastic, the service good and the best thing is that the seasoned and the oil used during cooking are perfect. they do not exaggerate the Indian charm of this place. it is perhaps one of the best Indian flavors that I had on traveling outside of India. with my experience I must say that they can try everything on the menu and they are not left in the stab. this applies regardless of whether they are inder, who visit francfurt or stay in Germany or just a western who tries to enjoy Indian eating.

I would have forgiven 5 stars, but the too salty chutney and the overpriced mixed grill and the somewhat unattended bar staff that was too deep in his smartphones to notice our empty glasses. positiw is that the place looked very clean, decently furnished and that was excellent; a larger company on a table near the table did not bother our own discussions. the food was very good and well prepared, the garlic nan was excellent and our bill for four people incl. appetizer, main course, some extras and drinks cost approx. 125,00 euro. worth a visit, but we will probably stay with ganesha, in the tester.
