I was so excited to do this, and so wanted to liked it but it was a let down. It was nice to hang out in the wine cave underground, that was the highlight. Six of us tasted four mediocre wines as part of the “Tour de France” tasting. One was from Sicily: The wine pourer told us nothing about the wines and couldn’t answer basic questions about the wines (Left Bank versus Right Bank Bordeaux? . One person asked for an extra taste of two wines and he was charged $10 extra per taste, though it was just an ounce or two. Tourist trap beware.
This place is a little piece of heaven on Earth! One of the most charming spots in Paris filled with amazing experiences! Whether you are a beginner in the wine world or a pro, I am sure Marina will be able to teach you so much! I loved the wine tasting! Also, if you are looking for the perfect wine, they have an amazing selection and can make very accurate recommendations according to your taste! She is an expert and I hope I can come back many times! Divvino Marais is a lovely place with a very friendly staff.
My husband and I stumbled upon Divvino Marais during our recent visit to Paris, and what a treasure we found! We were able to enjoy a wine tasting and cheese pairing, and it exceeded all expectations. Marina spent time taking us through the origins and qualities of all the wine we tasted, and the cheese pairing was delicious! We hoped to go back during our visit, but didn't make it back unfortunately in our quick visit. We will certainly visit again whenever we are back in Paris!
We were looking for a cozy wine bar to sample a few different varieties and this place was perfect! The staff were knowledgeable and incredibly kind, offered recommendations when prompted, but were not pushy. A great find if you’re in the Marais neighborhood!
