Cozy little Greek restaurant in a quiet neighborhood offering a great variety of food. I was generally satisfied with the food as well as the atmosphere. We had a couple of main dishes: the lamb plate was very tasty, meat tender and juicy, unfortunately I cannot fully say that about the Apollo plate the gyros pieces were rather dry, however still tasty and well seasoned. I also ordered Musaka which was delicious! Apart from the meat plates I really enjoyed the side dish in the form of fried potato slices, they were obviously air fried as they were not oily at all, yet very crispy! Tzatziki were flawless and salads as side dishes had the right amount of dressing (unlike in some other restaurants the salads just swim in the pool of dressing). Service was nice but could have been slightly more friendlier, I didn't see anyone smile while we were there. I appreciated the English menu and large selection of Greek wines (I had a delicious sweet red wine). Paid by card. Visited in November 2022.
Very friendly service. Had many vegetarian options... plenty of space outdoors and interior.decor was traditional. Greek I was very comfortable there...mostly the food was good... was able to enjoy a beautiful Greek salad and a warm appetizer variety dish. Hard to be satisfied as a vegetarian... I have been satisfied
This place is a decent place with decent Greek dishes. Looks like a real Greek place run by real Greeks! The food is pretty and cheap. Good bang for your ass. You shouldn't expect the place to be a Michelin Star restaurant. It's more like simple Greek food. But this is a good place to go!
Awesome food! I loved the pork with sheeps cheese and the mussel appetizer! Great service, very large seating capacity, very comfortable and nicely decorated. The best place I have been to in Mainz.
