"The place is ok but not well located. They charged me €6,90 for an ice coffee (it contains ice, water, espresso and an little if oat milk). It was good, but €6,90 is a price I have never paid or seen in my life for an ice coffee. Not even in London, Zürich and expensive/fancy cities like that. Augsburg is NOT a fancy place at all. (It’s totally the opposite of fancy)."

I have pre-ordered in-store a birthday cafe for my mother and paid the amount in advance. When I went to collect the cake one month later they said that the poof of purchase that I had (and which they gave me) is not valid and that they do not have any order noted in their record. The previous year I have ordered the exact same thing from them through the same process and I had no problem. But this time the staff was also very rude and said that they do not do such mistakes. They did not even make the effort to properly check the order and only kept arguing that they do not have the order and they cannot return the money. How do you treat a customer like that? Absolutely ruined the surprise for my mother. Although I was a constant customer, I will never go there again! So if you ever place an order in advance, make sure to only pay for it when you are doing the collection!

We enjoyed out breakfast here so much that we went back to have coffee and cake in the afternoon. The restaurant has an „old-world“ charm and a great location in the middle of Augsburg. The staff is really friendly and quick. The breakfast with fresh baked breads (Broetchen and fresh ingredients tastes very good. The cake we tried, Black Forrest and Mango Chocolate, was very good and no to sweet. What we really appreciated was the staff member who took her duty seriously and told an old woman (who took off her mask and then started coughing and not covering her face to please put on her mask. I don’t understand why people are so selfish to endanger others by taking of their masks (It works in Asia why not in the West? and having the audacity to then start coughing sneezing not thinking about the rest of us.

The place looks very nice and there is a rich assortment of sweets. We ordered two pieces of delicious cakes, one hot chocolat, one coffee and one Marzipan (the best I have ever had) and we paid around € 25; it is kind of expensive but it worths it. The only issue we had was that the waiter was joking about the tip we gave him, it is true that is was only 5 but he was not very nice from the beginning; besides that I totally recommend it.

We stopped here for afternoon cake and coffee, after spending the day sightseeing in Augsburg. The Apple strudel with vanilla custard was absolutely delicious. The espresso machiato was very good. Friendly staff who served us promptly. As for most cafes in Germany, we had to wait a little while to get the bill. Vegetarian friendly. Credit cards accepted. Very clean toilets.
