Destille

One of my favourite pubs to visit on any holiday I take to Berlin Is Destille ,a pub that is just joy to chill out and enjoy a great beer watching the world pass by. The interior is cool ,great decor and furnishings including a...cool looking serving bar and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling streets around Destille, it's just one really good pub. We were here on a Thursday evening, a gloriously warm evening, we sat outside were a very pleasant member of staff served us a beer each,we opted to have that most Berlin of beers namely Berliner Kindl beer, these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and we just chilled out and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular pub. My beer was exceptional, Berliner Kindl is such a wonderful light and hoppy lager style beer bursting with taste,very easy to drink,a beer style I really enjoy, when served iced cold as in this pub its just so refreshing. We really enjoyed our beers in here and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to here we had a great time. Destille is easy to locate along Mehringdamm. Opening hours are; Monday to Thursday, till Friday Saturday, till Sunday, till Midnight. A great pub,if your in the area well worth checking out

We stumbled on this place after getting incredibly lost, tired and thirsty and a local recommended it to us when we were round the corner at a different bar. We are glad we managed to walk our tired feet here as it was a real...German Gem. It gets busy, it isn't a massive place but we were lucky to get two seats at the bar. If you don't like smoking don't visit, everyone smokes in there but it adds to the charm I think. They make their own liquor and brandy with so many flavours to choose from. I expected the toilets to be terrible but they were excellent no issues there. The staff really get involved, a particular German song came on, all of a sudden everyone was singing along and the lights were swinging in unison. We spent a few hours here and are so glad we did. A very enjoyable time on our first evening in the city

Nice enough pub, smoking indoors, which is fine if you're prepared. I hey have some food specials, but most interestingly they have lots of homemade liqueurs. All about they have nearly every flavour imaginable. I think this is a good typical Berliner pub. Good...to stop off at if in the area

This is a beautiful restaurant in Kreuzberg. It is off the beaten path, so you won't find it packed. You will find very good food and German gemütlich Zeit. Flammen Kuchen is very similar to Mexican Quesadilla. It is a tortilla with cheese and other...ingredients

You can have fun watching a football game and drinking your beer! You can also smoke inside. At Christmas everything is decorated! Helpful staff but not all of them speak English. Really good prices and clean toilets
