This cute little spot is located in the historic part of Kensington. It's connected to an antiques shop and oops! Since I parked down the street on the main road, I ended up walking into the wrong entrance. My bad! I walked in where the bathrooms are and some tables leaning up against the wall. I made my way to the front where all the goods are they have quite the selection of sandwiches, pastries and lots of imported goods! I only wanted a snack, so when I stepped up to the counter I was warmly greeted and had asked what some of the most popular items are. I was told the owner made a torta de Santiago, which is an almond cake. Very few ingredients, but an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING texture and flavor! It wasn't too sweet either... I cannot wait to return and try some of their other offerings! Be mindful though, they close at 5:00 on weekdays and aren't open at all on Monday, so you definitely have to plan!

My family and I are a huge fan of Deli Club. The food is amazing (try to curry chicken salad sandwich it does not disappoint), the ambiance is second to none, and owner and staff make you immediately feel welcome and part of the community. The one note of caution is that they use nespresso for espresso drinks, so if you are searching for a true espresso drink, set expectations accordingly. That said, this place is truly a gem in Kensington and we go as often as we can.

I went a few weeks ago and I think the name has changed, but the photos all look right. Great food and great service. Bread is fresh and soft and the food just tastes simply good. They also have fun drink options if you’re familiar with Italian and French sodas. I’d 100% recommend for going out but not wanting something greasy or huge! (I think the sign called it Karlee’s deli or something like that if I read it right?

Very good food and the setting is nice. We ate inside but look forward to returning to eat on the patio in warmer weather.
