"We are one month into a two and a half month visit to the Charente. We have enjoyed the French cuisine, however we are quite starved of exotic flavours. After investigating TA we decided on this eatery despite the reviews being quite mixed. For us this is more then your typical Chinese restaurant. It was very clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. There was an array of high quality dishes on the buffet which is topped up frequently by staff during the two hour lunch service. Our particular favourite was the the grill/wok section. Here you can pick your favourite cuts of meat such as rump steak, skewered prawns, fillets of fish and chicken, with veges cooked in front of your eyes to our liking. As we say in Australia awesome! Overall an excellent experience and value for money at 12.90euros, which is about what you would pay for the average plat du jour. As an all you can eat with so many choices available, this style of eatery is a definite for lunch. It's been nicely decorated with an Asian feel but it is a large space and definitely not for a romantic dinner. Dinner cost is significantly higher also at 18 euros."
