Deer Park Club - Table reservation

We dined here for Saturday lunch. The dining area is huge and characterless with large screens for compulsive gamblers.The menu is wide-ranging and rather expensive. A roast of the day was $16.90 with soup and dessert.I chose a pasta with chorizo and chilli. Big mistake! The chilli came from a sweet chilli sauce - truly dreadful. Others chose the dry roast which was equally unimpressive. Wine offerings were varied and fairly pricey. Dress code is very relaxed, with some diners arriving in gardening clobber.I'd suggest travelling a little further to Deer Park Village restaurant strip, unless the pokies will cheer your spirits after a pretty boring table experience.

We have now dined here on 3 occasions, mainly because of the kids play area, but unfortunately, I don't think they playground will entice us to eat this terribly bland food again. The meals are under seasoned, often cold, and at our last visit, the chicken nuggets were raw in the middle. Would much rather done elsewhere for the price.

Been here several times and have always found the food service disorganised. To place the order for a table of eight at the same time and have the food served with a variance of 20 minutes. Even though the meals are nice but the frustration overrides the enjoyment.

Good food, plenty to do for the kids, lots of room, prices are reasonable, lots to choose from, ice creams are great, bookings a must!
