Went here because my daughters wanted pizza. To me the place looked a bit touristy and so I 'd probably normally avoid, as in my experience places like this can have poor food for a lot of money. Over the years I 've been visiting this part of France, I 've discovered a few good, reasonably priced restaurants, which are always consistently good, so I should have trusted my instincts on this place!! The pizzas were very bad, with slushy tomato that looked like it came straight out of a jar, and my steak hache was basically a burger from a packet. The pizzas were about 11 euros each and the steak hache was 10. We had some ice creams and some drinks. We didn 't get a detailed bill, but noting the price of the food, it was clear that the little pichet 25 cl of wine we had was about 5 euros (normally 3 at most and the 3 soft drinks we had came to around 12 euros (4 euros for a coke, in the Vienne!! Anyway, I was prepared to put this down to experience, but when I went to pay the owner was also rude to the point of hostility I won 't go into too much detail as St Savin is on the whole a charming place that I wish to continue to visit. The best part of the pizzeria is the waitress her service was efficient and friendly, though I 'm afraid I 've clicked 'poor ' because of the owner 's rudeness. Overall, poor value for the money and a hostile owner. With a bit of local knowledge there is much better on offer in the town itself or a few minutes drive away. The location of the pizzeria is lovely, but in this case has just encouraged complacency. I 'd also like to add that I spoke French (quite well even if i do say so myself I 'm fluent to the point where I can watch the news etc on the telly and understand it all the whole time, so the excuse that communication was an issue is not really applicable here...
Great service! Great food! Have tried their burgers, nachos and wings and all of it was great!! Servers have always been attentive and very very polite.
Die get a burger and a salade, no pizza ,our food was oké, the lady was also very helpfull. You Can go and eat there
