I just ate at this restaurant and I honestly wish I could have loved what my wife and I have ordered but could not, I ordered the spaghetti carbonara, and my wife ordered the penne (it had crushed peppers and a homemade red sauce I love supporting small businesses and usually don't leave a not so good review even if it's not great (to see if it will change when we give another chance just to help support! But I had to pull over on the side of the road to vomit and My wife had to drive for me and she does not feel well either. The service was great! Very very low staff! But she provided great customer service. The atmosphere seems to be a great idea just outdated. The food and dining area felt like I was experiencing a kitchen nightmare moment (there is plenty of potential! . Spaghetti carbonara tasted heavily of wine and the penne tasted more tangy than spicy (very overwhelming of something we could not identify . The sautéed mushrooms were great but tasted off, and the spinach and egg soup tasted salty and tasted off as well. The total cost was 49 dollars after tip. I hope this helps the establishment see that these specific menu items needs work and once we see or hear of change my wife and I have no problem trying again and updating the review! I have heard the pizza and calzone are good though!

I recently went in to pick up an order and I was very unhappy with their service. I walked in and was not acknowledged at all. I noticed there was a Hispanic couple waiting as well who did not get acknowledged either. Two waitresses walked past after a few minutes of waiting and said nothing and then two gentleman walked by and said nothing either. I waited closer to 10 minutes and no one greeted us or even looked at us. A white man showed up and he was greeted immediately. He was asked if he was picking up an order or dining in. It was very upsetting to say the least. I should've left and not picked up my order but I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. I finally got someone's attention and let them know I was also waiting and was FINALLY helped with my order. I tried the pizza and it was basic. It was very salty and greasy. Couldn't finish it. The ambiance was nice though. The restaurant did not deserve any starts due to the poor service and food, but they had a man singing in the restaurant and he was amazing. I give him 5 stars. Even though I was upset about the staff ignoring me, I was in awe of him. He definitely helped me relax a bit.
Food is just beyond amazing. It's the Italian restaurant you want all other Italian restaurants to be. Caterin was our server and could not have been nicer. She took her time with us because we were so indecisive since everything looked and sounded and smelled so good. Sometimes you leave a place and good well that dish was great but this other one was meh. Not here, everything from the calamari to the lasagne all the way to the house Chianti was five stars. And that's what I give this place. The marinara alone is 5 stars. So bright a fresh. We had to order extra for the calamari Because we were eating it with a spoon! Only bad thing? It's too far away from where we live but we have already planned our next trip here. If you are nearby don't miss it.
