Hillesheim is the centre of crime according to his own testimony. Accordingly, there is the Krimihotel where you can stay for example in the Miss Marple room or in the Derrick room. The rooms are very lovingly furnished, with pictures and artifacts from the Crimean novels. Unfortunately, it already stops because apart from further decoration on the halls and in the restaurant, the Krimimotto is not further thought. Since in Hillesheim the bear does not just step, after dinner you will also only have a normal restaurant menu at 21:00 in the room and would like to watch a DVD matching the room or listen to a matching audio game/book. Unfortunately, there are no suitable novels. The TV also only had a bad analogue and no media library, so that you can't watch Barnaby or the like.We liked the stay overall, but we had expected something more under the motto Krimihotel.Rooms: The rooms are decorated according to the theme.Nearby activities: In the vicinity there is the Crimean House, among others with a large collection of crime novels.
We were there last weekend for a night and were warmly welcomed by Pia Kandel, who was very popular for our stay. Our room the Inspector Barnaby Suite) was something else than in other Star-Class hotels is certainly not every taste, we enjoyed it and liked it, including the crispy and even room floor. A very special hotel for Krimi lovers. Each room is dedicated to a criminal and furnished with great attention to detail. If you are looking for a modern hotel, miss the place. But this hotel doesn't want to. We were received very nicely and were well versed. I can only recommend this hotel if you are a friend of Krimis. Everything without complaint. Great birthday spent there. Little sweet idyllic town in the Eifel. Delicious breakfast buffet and dinner were plentiful and well tasted. Save Gimmicks everywhere.
