These people seem to be making so much money they have no need to try very hard. although they had empty tables they refused to serve us coffee today because they claimed they needed 20 minutes to lay up the table for the next guests. Last year they seriously suggested we wait outside in a blizzard because we were 15 minutes early although we had a small child with us.
We had lunch there twice. First time we had soups, which were very good, the second time we went for risotto, which was excellent.The service was reasonable, but nothing to write home about.I would recommend to go once for the views and something decent to eat, if you are in the area.
had the salad with bacon bits, main was beef tatar.excellent salad and the main tasted like tomato puree.very good view, definitely a worthwhile visit, only for the first time.my friends ordered the white truffle cheese pasta, which was basically mac and cheese, VERY average.
We had lunch with another couple at Das Elephant. Expected a lot but was disappointment at their food. I ordered the shrimp but unfortunately it was not cooked and no improvement after I sent it back. The other dishes my friends ordered was fine but not outstanding.
