We stopped at Darwisch for dinner after coming into town on a group tour. It was within walking distance of our hotel and the center of town. We’d never eaten Persian food before, and everything was incredibly delicious. I don’t know what marinade was put...on the chicken, but it was tender and savory. Every dish was excellent. Fresh, flavorful, and wellprepared. The staff weren’t English speakers, but we were able to do fine pointing at the menu. They did have English menus. The only downside was that the staff didn’t let us know their credit card machine was broken until after we were presented with the bill. We had cash, but others in our group did not. It would have been helpful to know that before ordering
