General: On the way back from Marktheidenfeld we wanted to visit the restaurant Split in Laufach again. Unfortunately we stood outside closed door business holidays from 13.08 to 11.09.2013. What now, no matter what, continue in Rtg. A small stop was planned in Kahl am Main. The hunger was, of course, still present, it has become a bit later and we decided to quickly get an Italian for a light meal. The first Italian restaurant in Kahl am Main, also with a beer garden in the yard on Hanauer Landstraße, fell right and left next to the restaurant entrance and a small view into the beer garden right after the menus in the two shop windows. A well-maintained and reasonable menu in the shop window is already a flagship for any gastronomy and it should not fail. So we came back to the car and went on. My better half suddenly said that at the end of the road, just before the Aral gas station, an Italian Trattoria would be on the right side, where she had already eaten with her former boss and colleague. The Trattoria is located next to the road in a narrow road with traffic calmed road with signs. Many large high-quality vehicles were parked outside the door and built in Zuffenhausen and the other group brand in Ingolstadt Neckarsulm. I was a little biased now. A few steps up and we stood on the large terrace, where all the places were occupied at 22.00 until on a non-cleaned table. The senior manager kindly greeted us and said we can have the four-storey, they just need to clean up and clean up quickly. (The four people met us before the Trattoria). Ambience: Outer dark wooden tables, mainly four or six tables, where they can be assembled differently by different two tables. the chairs were very comfortable, some were also seat cushions. With the parasols, the terasse made a good and clean impression. There are about 40 seats on the Terasse. Inside, the Trattoria is not quite as large, in front of the head a large counter (which I could see through the window) and the walls are modern in green white, with color the same seat as on the terrace. It looked neat and neat. The toilet was only visited by my better half, this was also clean, but could certainly be a little tight for a little more obsessed ladies (with her it was good fun). The audience was from the beginning 30 to the end 40. how it sounded and looked, most guests knew each other. The soundtrack was actually quite normal, only the 3 men of the Anatolian origin on the side table, probably wanted to impornate their ladies and always tried to order dessert and other drinks on pseudo-Italian, but in a volume that it could understand the whole terasse. The thick cigars, of course, were not missing all the time. (for the guests and their behavior, the restaurant can be nothing else than this five-person table, which was sometimes noticed at short notice) served the food: We then sat at the cleaned table and were kindly greeted by another older waitress (but not an Italian landwife) and served the menus. The menu includes exclusively antipasti salads as well as pasta and pizzas. Don't overload. Our waitress then brought us paper and cutlery and additionally a large fresh hot Focaccia from the house (pizzabrot for the readers who do not know them). For this I already pay between 3.50 and 4.50€ in many Italian restaurants. We once ordered wheat beer 0.5l for 3. € and 0.5l Coca Cola for likewise 3. The drinks were served quickly and nicely cool. As we sat at the window front next to the entrance door, the operation set us a big door at the door, where approx. 8 daily dishes were more or less pasta dishes in different varieties. We ordered from the normal card Pennette Arrabiata with Rucola and Mozzarella for 8,50€, but without cheese! especially sharp and once from the wooden board linguine with truffle, parmas ham and rocket for 11,50€. After a minute the operation came back and asked me, even without Mozarella, I told her, even without Mozarella and without Parmesan. At the same time, a large pepper mill and a salt shaker were placed on our table. After a pleasant waiting period our service came and served us the plates. I said to her, I had actually ordered pasta and no salad, where she said a little insecure, that's true (more on that later). The sections were very large in the depth plates. The pasta was still hot, rarely so hot received and it smells very good or looked very good. A little after the choke and it was funny. The linguins were very tasty, the number of truffles was very pleasing, the Parmaschinken was also very tasty and well dimensioned from the amount, in addition Parmesan and some rocket. Of the noodles (naturally without truffles and parma ham), unfortunately, half of them have remained on the plate because this part was really more than large. Well, Rucola is the greenware today, which means, for example, that all Italians garnish all food. The amount of penets was just as big as the linguins. The sauce was fresh and fruity with many fresh cherry tomatoes and some garlic as well as some herbs. However, it should have been a bit sharper, this was unfortunately not much sharper from the sharpness than a normal tomato sauce. Why I became stubborn while serving, I couldn't first recognize a pasta, because the whole plate was completely covered with a height of about 5 cm with rocket, with it 2 complete rocket pizzas are occupied elsewhere. This rocket was thought to me as compensation for the interrupted mozzarella, otherwise I cannot imagine this constellation. PS: I didn't manage my part entirely from the crowd. In the meantime, the service asked discreetly whether everything would be to our satisfaction and whether any wishes would be open. Payment: We asked our waitress for the bill. After about 2 minutes, the senior manager came back from the welcome and asked us kindly if we were satisfied, what we did, of course, honestly. She put us a small handwritten notebook with the numbers (without now, which amount belonged to it), 6. € 8.50€ 11,50€ _____ 26,00€ on our table. I paid the sum including a reasonable tip and we were well approved by the manager. To have a Trattoria name and an address for this restaurant criticism, of course we did not stand on the slip, we took a small menu and a business card handed over by the junior boss of my better half. At a glance into this card, I need to find out that the prices indicated there differ from the menu on the terrace, at least € 1 to € 2 per pasta dish and also from the antipasti where I actually found the PLV OK. Fabio Da Scialpi has traveled this Trattoria in Kahl am Main since 2005. Conclusion: Nice owner and service with very tasty large paste dressing, partly also unusual variants, at good prices. Another visit will take place occasionally. So do not let different vehicles dazzle at the door, quite normal prices for decent quality and especially fresh ingredients.
