I went here because of the good reviews and it being listed as a seafood restaurant. The owner is very friendly and enthusiastic - he makes you feel welcome! The setting seemed to be in an old school building, in a residential area, which raised my expectations for the food (as the ambiance was not bad, but certainly not great). The starters (melon & parma ham / bruschetta) were really good, as was the fresh warm bread served along with it. He had the wine we were looking for (Roero Arneis) and didn't mind to open a bottle to just serve two glasses. Very big plus here. The main course was disappointing however - we had a grilled swordfish & grilled squid - the squid was just grilled squid rings, without much taste or garnish. The swordfish was not a whole fish (as I expected), but just fish filet and it was very dry (typically grilled fish is more juicy). It came with an excellent side dish of vegetables - but we came for the seafood and were disappointed. It's a shame really, maybe we just ordered the wrong things, but I was really expecting better. However, based on this, I won't go again.
