I would have liked an order of just pierogi (potato and cheese) as I am a vegetarian, but you can't get anything ala carte. They only come in a dinner that includes mashed potatoes with gravy (probably made with beef broth), and even the kapusta has bacon in it. So I tried the dill pickle soup (forgot that it's usually made with chicken broth), but it was much too salty. The waitress did notice I hadn't eaten it, and took it off the bill, though, which was nice of her. Ended up getting the potato pancakes, and they were pretty good. My dinner companions (not vegetarian) did like their dinners (pierogi, city chicken, and guampkey) very much, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. And the desserts look amazing. I just wish they had more options for vegetarians. Vegetarian options: Only options are potato pancakes or a garden or caesar salad. Or desserts.
