"located by the river, behind the cathedral, not particularly easy to find but worth it. food is imaginative with good service. It's the kind of place we say "go to the south side kitchen" when you want a special lunch."

I had lunch here several times (it's beautifully located in the old cahors) but I never had dinner. On this occasion, I was part of a group of 40 people, arriving at an indeterminate hour in the evening (no problem.) - controlled but had the choice between 4 admissions, 4 dishes and 4 desserts. my 3 fish mousse entry was accompanied by a garlic sauce - unusual by very nice sets, then pintade (a bit dry, but we arrived quite late) then tasty chocolate crispy. The service was impeccable. efficient and friendly. Lovely people. highly recommended for your group dinner, as well as for everything else.

We fell by chance on this restaurant during a tourist trip to cahor. We had just visited the cathedral, we went to the river and it was there. It was almost lunch time, so we came in and I'm very happy to have done it. We had a three-course lunch with wine, coffee and armagnac at the end and it was at an incredibly reasonable price compared to some of the restaurants we ate. This trip. food was good and well presented, a very pleasant meal. The service was friendly and helpful. overall, an excellent experience for lunch.

This restaurant offers a very good cuisine in a welcoming environment and with attentive staff, but not intrusive. The chief certainly knows what he's doing! the menu is quite short but everything is fresh and mainly from local origin. prices of wine are reasonable; the list is not long but the good wines of the region are available to the glass and the measurements are good.

this fabulous restaurant is at the edge of the lot river. It has seats outside and inside. service is extremely good. You have to try the foie gras. It is served with a hot bread and a sort of jam/fruit whitney. I've never eaten anything so delicious. We also had the duck served with asparagus that was just as delicious.
