Having been an avid supporter of Crosby Coffee since they served from a unit in Seaforth, I feel the service received lately has let the owner down immensely! Luke warm coffee and service ‘without a smile’ comes to mind, not only to myself, but to others served behind me who also commented to each other by a miserable girl on the till, it felt like a chore for her to serve customers and it put a dampener on the experience! Waited in line at the end of the counter for my drinks which took an age to make and were plonked down without even a thank you or smile by the lady making them. I fathomed out the cup lids were help yourself by watching others before me, and left feeling underwhelmed and incredibly sad that so much hard work has gone into getting the brand ‘out there’ only for front facing staff here to seemingly not care! Be better CC, this isn’t the first Luke warm experience I’ve had, and I only come back out of support for the original ethos and to support local, but will be going elsewhere in future! Such a shame….
Before covid I used to go to crosby coffee a lot and was always very pleased with the service and food. Went last month with my friend and was so amazed at the difference. They didn't have any avocado and very few cakes. I had lemon and ginger tea and was amazed it was served in a muggin beaker with no hande on. I am not a young person and have problems with my fingers. I couldn't pick it up as it was so hot, I asked for a cup with handles on, they don't have any, I ended up with a paper cup !! I'm surprised there hasn't been an accident with boiling water or hot coffee. I ended up leaving most of the tea .
Excellent tasting coffee , served on a good size cup , by pleasant staff ,who know about thier product and how to serve it correctly, Very clean establishment and in store facilities,
Great coffee.. great staff .. and while you are there.. get one of the outstanding cakes… everyone needs coffee and cake!
