Came tonight and left after only eating what can be described as a below par starter. We got told it would be 30mins before we order to it being busy.. there were no more than 6 small tables in for food.. ok we were happy to wait. We waited 40mins just for starters, chicken pate and 'garlic ' mushrooms on toasted sourdough.. the mushrooms (if you want to call them that) were Luke warm at best and bland, not sure where any of the flavour was nevermind the garlic. Two tables got up after waiting for over an hour for a roast due to cold food, fair enough they got a sorry but that is not good enough when waiting that long. We were able to see the kitchen, two pies were sat around waiting on the pass for 10mins.. no communication in the kitchen from what looked like kids in there, two people with no chefs whites on entered the kitchen.. very sanitary. NOT. No organisation on any station which showed with 6 of us walking out without eating or only eating a little. Safe to say we left VERY disappointed and hungry and will not be returning, shame as it 's up the road from us. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1 Recommended dishes: Sunday Roast
