This was within walking distance from our hotel and looked half decent from the outside plus a cursory glance at the menu. As it was Sunday and the children eat for €3 there were a lot of little people who made a lot of noise and did a lot of miles running around the restaurant. Having said that one of the pleasant aspects of family dining in France is that the kiddies are included. They actually provided us with much entertainment as they made countless visits to the sweet counter and chocolate fountain. The welcome was brisk but friendly, the tables were quite close together and we sat fairly close to the buffet but the decor ambiance were very pleasant. The cold buffet was very good indeed with a rich selection of cold fish, meats, cheeses salads which you could revisit as much as youn wish. (and many did). The selection of main courses was fairly standard nothing exceptional but hot and good portions. I had the half roast chicken with hot Bearnaise sauce, excellent! The dessert buffet offered both hot and cold choices, regularly topped up and always there! The very acceptable table wines were on draught from taps in the wall as was soft drinks beers, again as much as you wished. You could select a higher quality of wine from a list at additional cost if you wished. All in all we had a really decent evening on about €45.
