We arrived and requested a table for two, there were several tables for 4 available and we asked if we could take one by the window, but were told no and were then made to wait for 10 minutes until a table for 6 left, the tables were then separated and we were shown to the separated table for 2 in the middle of the room. I then asked again if we could take one of the available tables by the window, but were again refused. We sat down and ordered, shortly after, 3 couples came in and were each given one of the tables for 4 that we had requested. The table for 2 that we were given was like sitting on a traffic island with customers and waiting staff passing on both sides absolutely awful. Definitely my idea of the dining experience from hell!
I go there weekly and organised to sit upstairs. The owner agreed. This week now I got told we dont spend enough (we only have drinks), but there are normally about 20 of us. The manager spat fire and kept on saying I have a bad attitude. Upstairs is always empty so why cant we sit there? He was rude, obnoxious and now were moving venues. Prices are high for Girona you're better off going somewhere else. The service is slow too so good riddance.
This place is great no matter what time of day you visit. The staff fly about and are very efficient and friendly, they serve a really good selection of food and drinks in a modern yet chilled family environment. I heartily recommend the chicken sandwich which is like nothing you have ever seen before and a non alcoholic Free Damm beer. I always visit this place when I am in Roses, the perfect place to chill and start my holiday.
Predominantly a younger persons place. However we thought it to be very friendly, well managed and reasonable prices. We liked it and as 70+ we felt very welcome
