it was an excellent evening in the cozy typical French restaurant. on Saturday evening without reservation, we are simply on the basis of the good recommendations here on tripadvisor. the personal has received us very friendly and well advised. After that we chose two steaks.These were freshly prepared on a charcoal grill and had a very special smoke note. there were even made fresh pommes that were scary delicious. the portions were very large and yet absolutely exquisite, while the price was absolutely fair. this restaurant is absolutely recommended and we will certainly visit it at our next visit in chamonix.
This was just the cutest little place with super friendly service and great traditional french food. When most places we visited would turn you away after 130 for lunch this place was more than willing to accommodate us close to 3 o'clock! lovely charcuterie and delicious authentic tartiflette.
The welcome is warm and casual. small terrace with impressive views of the massif. steak cooked in the outside fireplace in front of us. rich and very well present. aromatic herb garden around the terrace. a lot of very nice details. Very nice. Not to be missed.
Small French cafe walking distance from les gaillands climbing slabs/public park. Affordable, tasty, authentic.
