Myself and my wife experienced the food at the Craven Kitchen and can confirm that the chef there is a bit on the special side! I tried an amazing sweet curry called Chingri Mouchak made with cream, honey, corriander and prawns. It was absolutely fantastic! My wife had a vegetable byriani and described it as 'exquisite '. The food was so damned good I actually left a full one pound tip on the table! Go to the Craven Kitchen, you will not be dissapointed! Oh.... And the price was very reasonable.
excellent meal and great service. the menu offered a many number of well-known directed, but much more unusual options. even the pickles with the poppadoms were subtle different. the mixed Platter-Starter, bengal kabeljau haupt and nazrang lamm haupt were excellent ... but also the beside dishes. not a weak point at the whole meal. compliments to the cook(s)
So delicious! We had mains, sides and some starters, everything was well balanced flavour wise and clearly great quality with fresh ingredients. The naan breads were a highlight, and the poppadoms were super fresh and lovely. Service was very good, fast and friendly. The restaurant interior was also nice and neat and clean. Excellent value to boot!
excellent meal. we had the Sharing star who was almost a meal in itself, then a beautiful curry everyone. my wife ordered the wrong court and didn't like it, but they changed it for them without effort.
