We were lucky enough to have been recommended Retaurant Cote Saint Pierre when in the ferry queue at Poole by someone in a car next to us. We booked a table for the following evening and experienced the most amazing fine dining beautifully served and delightful flavours. Additional touches of Amuse bouches, flowers on the table, linen serviettes, a small sweet finisher with the coffee and attentive, friendly hospitality service from Elise made for a really special evening. We enjoyed it so much that we went again the next day. Do go, I am sure you will not be disappointed. Superb value for money. Many thanks indeed Elise and Damien Dublin and we hope to come again one day. Rachel and Richard, Taylor, Modbury, South Devon, England

Cross between fine dining and traditional french food. Not as pricey as Trip Advisor says. About 20€ for set lunch of 3 courses. Started with mackerel with pickled slices of different vegetables and a puree of beetroot. Fabulous. Followed by chicken rolled up with a jus and seasonal vegetables, also fabulous. Pudding was roasted pear and a ginger snap type crisp with cider ice cream. Also superb. Eat here. It's great.

Good wine list, good menu. Everything locally sourced and fresh. The menu was delicious and there was choice for vege's too. One of our party has to be very careful of gluten and they were completely accommodating. It was all very well presented, beautifully cooked and tasty. I would happily return here to see what is on the menu as it changes depending on availability of produce.

Small and cosy restaurant so make sure you have a reservation. We had lunch: pate en croute, Jarret de boef with mustard jus and lemon nage with baked apricots and peach. Excellent!!! For each course you have 2 3 options in the menu. Warm reception and excellent service.
