"Went there with a party of 8 because a friend is related to the owner and said we should go, so we thought we would give it a shot. After waiting over an hour for our food, my son's steak was rancid and smelled like death. When we brought it to their attention, they made excuses about having a new chef, complained that serving 8 people is difficult, and comp'd the steak. Any self respecting establishment would have comp'd the entire meal. Our waitress was amazing btw, but I wish I could give less than 1 star"

We love this island the small businesses that make it come alive! We have been coming here long before this restaurant and will be coming long after it closes. Sadly, that is what experiences like tonight lead to. Look at how many positive reviews I leave this is my first negative one… We were served rancid meat the server was so wonderful even went out of her way to try to make up for the chef’s negligence. We were a party of 8, spending hundreds of dollars. We were offered excuses “its hard to serve a family of 8” as well as dismissive obligatory apologies from the manager. In addition to this, we were offered a $100 gift card with the caviat from the manager “I know you won’t use this but maybe a friend will”. Yikes… This was the most disappointing experience we’ve ever had it’s a shame because the servers/staff were very friendly plus the island needs great food for great people. This is not one of those places.

Out of towner, read good reviews for this restaurant but was disappointed. Service, wait time, attention by wait staff was all very good. Portion of spaghetti was very small with eggplant parmesan entree, they spread very thin eggplant slices all over the plate to look like a lot, and quality of taste and the sauce was so so. We are used to more authentic Italian cooking we went with a group of 7 adults and all agreed the quality of food did not equate to what we spent; so I am writing this review because all the reviews rave about the food but we had a different experience; 2 ordered spaghetti and meatballs, 1 person had gnocchi, 1 had linguine with Alfredo, 2 had Cesar salads; maybe the main chef was off, but the pasta and portions did not wow for the price.

Sat on their outdoor deck yesterday with my girlfriend and her parents. It was a lovely meal all around. We shared a few of the appetizers of which the shrimp Antoinette was a star, and for our entrees we went in different directions with a few pastas and a seafood and a chicken dish, all were hot, fresh, and delicious. As good as the food was our service absolutely stole the show! Our waitress (who’s name was laney I think) was attentive and friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. Will absolutely be going back, and would recommend laney to anyone contemplating eating here!

Best meal around! Owners are hands on and the food is top notch! My favorite dishes are the lobster ravioli and lobster Venetian: they now accept online reservations through toast. Thank you to the Cordavari family for an excellent meal 4th of July weekend!Kid-friendliness: Very nice kids menuWheelchair accessibility: Yes everything us in the main level.
