Coolidge Corner Clubhouse

In 10 years of life in Boston, I did not feel the absolute need to submit a review to date. The owner was extremely rude, careless and aggressive without any provocation. My partner and I sat on a table for 4 from the host and waited for our friends to join (they ran late). No one has provided us with a menu, no water or confirmation of our presence. After about 30 minutes the owner came to our table and called us to go so that he could sit another party of 3. We were amazed and tried to understand why he had the feeling of throwing us out without giving us the opportunity to order or wait until the rest of our party arrives. He said it was his restaurant and he could do what he wants with his business, that was not a trial and we had to go, otherwise he wanted to call the cops to accompany us. As a black man, I was forced to go in this unignited way to avoid an unnecessary encounter with the police. I don't think anyone, black, white or brown, must be treated in this way, and I wouldn't want this experience on every person.

The best bar. Great for sports, relaxation and trivia on Tuesday night. The food is delicious and the beer selection is undoubtedly the best staff in the area, it is always a great place to relax. Shout to Manager Matt!

Fast service and an amazing friendly waiter who paid for our sodas! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. I'd really go back here.

Do not be fooled by the review. This place is great. Great energy on a weekend night, great cold for Sunday brunch. Sports bar theme, but...
