I am a long time fan of this restaurant- the interior is super charming and makes me feel like I am at a cafe in Europe The food is always fresh and delicious, no matter what the season. If you ask politely and the kitchen isn't super busy serving a full house of guests, I have found any request through my server to the chef to substitute an ingredient or tweak a recipe to better suit my taste is cheerfully accomplished. That tells me a lot about how much the staff cares about a high standard of excellence and pleasing their customers I love that you can also browse at the deli before or after your meal to choose something yummy to take home, to continue your joy another day! I have also taken deli item meals and/or soups to friends who are sick, have a new baby, etc., and the recipients have been very pleased with the taste and quality of dishes as well. There is a great selection of wine for purchase also, for gift giving or for your own pleasure at home It is one of my favorite sources for gift certificates, because the recipients have the choice of enjoying a meal there, or purchasing wine and/or prepared foods and desserts at the deli

Although I am a fan of Covito and a long time customer, this time the kitchen fell short of the mark. I ordered salmon which was tasteless. My husband a friend ordered bucatini puttanesca. Also no flavor. It seems most of the ingredients listed on the menu did not make it into the sauce. My husband’s dish had about tasteless shrimp in it while my friend’s had about It called for olives, anchovies, capers seemed to be missing. Service was friendly. Wine, a pinot noir was good

We arrived for dinner with one fewer than our reservations had stated, in three different groups, and they immediately accommodated the changes and made all feel welcome as we waited. The food was good, although not inventive. The servers were friendly, informative, and quick, in short, they were great servers. The ambiance was quaint country French, and very inviting. I would recommend the restaurant to others and would go back myself
