I came from out of town to try this restaurant because I was told it was the bomb. Well it was a TOTAL dud?we walked in the restaurant and we?re seated by the cashier. She brought our drinks. We waited for our waiter to come around but he never showedup. We waited for about 15 mins, thinking maybe they are short staffed?.but no, almost everyone around us was being served. Itook my lemonade glass to the front and asked for a to go cup, asked how much it was for the lemonade. The cashier said it?s onthe house, you were never served right? I said no. I would NEVER RECOMMEND this place to anyone. Stay away from this restaurant.Choose any other restaurant, you?ll Thank me for it!!! I wouldn?t give any stars to this place but the review section doesn?thave that option.
Service and sweat tea were good, but the food was horrible. I don?t say that lightly. The appetizer soup came out cold and the shrimp in it was over cooked to the point of rubber texture. Unfortunately the plates weren?t good either. The fried shrimp wasalso over cooked. The batter was really hard instead of crispy. My husband ordered the bacon shrimp. It was tasteless. Thebacon had no flavor and it was a sloppy job of wrapping the shrimp. The shrimp on his plate was also over cooked. Not sure whattheir methods are. We tried really hard to find some pleasure in the meal. It was a $66 mistake. I feel swindled. In some wayit?s my fault because I didn?t check the reviews first. Lastly, our omen should have been the roach at the front entrance. ????
The food was great and the crowd was more than enough. There were 4 of us and we ordered the Botana for 2 and had more than enough. We even had enough to go home. Also the design beer was very cold, which is always a plus. The service was good, but not great, as they were shorthanded. So server took a good time to check on us as he had more tables than he could handle.
Absolutely love ?? the food!! And it was so nice that they allowed a clown to come in and make balloon animals for the kids! Great night out after a long week!
