Have visited this restaurant before. Quite quirky but quite frankly not the standard I would expect in either France or Lectoure in particular. The entrecote I had was extremely tough though tasty with soggy frites and the plat du jour my wife had was beef and carrot casserole. Again tough. The saving grace on the food front was the tarte tatin desert and the coffee. Staff friendly but even allowing for the drop in the pound it was overpriced for what was basic food not well cooked.

Having spent the morning wondering around the market, we decided to have a drink. As we were eating out that evening, we did not want a full lunch. When l explained this to the waiter he immediately suggested a plate of meats. What a plate, such variety and well presented. We sat on the terrace in the sun for a good hour with no sign of impatience from the staff, who were very friendly and helpful. We will return and have a meal there. Well recommended.

A fun informal place to have lunch 'al fresco'. Relaxed outside seating space with canopies and parasols. Reasonably child-friendly and a better option than the sports bar down the road. Menu looks interesting and dishes are OK - neither the best nor the worst. Relaxed.

The food here is simple and delicious. I have eaten here many times and never been disappointed. The king prawns are enormous and scrumptious. The shaded terrace is a delightful place to sit for hours. Give it a try, I'm sure you'll be back.
