A really long wait for our food. The original time was further extended and took over 2 hours for our food to arrive. We had to keep checking the app and asking for updates about our very delayed order. When it did arrive it was mostly cold, the pork dish luke warm cold. The chips were disgusting. Cold, stale tasting and unedible; no wonder they offer free chips with most dishes! The beef dish was also cold. The beef was so chewy that we left pretty much all of it and ate the carrots onions; however the sauce was tasty but cold unfortunately. The pork with beansprouts was cooked lovely (unlike the very chewy beef!!! but luke warm cold and not as enjoyable as we had wanted. This is really disappointing after choosing what seemed a lovely Chinese with good to medium reviews to order from whilst we were staying in the area overnight in a hotel nearby. We wouldn 't recommend ordering here or wasting your money certainly wouldn 't order from here again on returning to the area. Would have left 0 stars but 1 is the minimum.
They screwed up my initial order and when I phoned to rectify it after a brief argument they agreed to deliver what I had ordered! Then when they finally delivered the correct food it the chicken had evidently been rushed and was completely inedible! It was chewy and squeaky like biting an eraser! I phoned again to see what could be done but the manager was again very argumentative and informed me the chicken must be fine as it had been cooked twice, once earlier and a second time by himself! He then proceeded to tell me he was not interested and hung up! I will not be going anywhere near the place again! Abysmal is an understatement!
I ordered 2 Hong Kong sweet and sour chicken with chips. Sweet and sour was fine with the chicken being tender and plenty of it. Shame about the chips, dried up, crunchy, quite horrible. I'm almost sure they were from yesterday's left overs, re fried into oblivion. Went in the bin as not edible.
Very unhelpful. Ordered through the Just Eat app and tried to cancel my order before collection. The owner couldn’t have been more unhelpful.
