Met some friends who arrived before us. They had received their drinks and the comp chips and salsa. The waiter was not on his A game. Took several pass bys before taking our drink order. Then it took a while to get them, figured he was super busy. We then gave him our food orders, was not too bad of a wait, but upon digging in, I was very disappointed. My half rack of ribs looked awesome, ribs were glazed over in sauce to give the appearance of looking delicious. Inside, dry shards of meat. Obviously way over cooked or nuked until completely dried out. Ear of corn was the same way, appeared awesome, but so over nuked it was an ear of rubber corn.
My husband's daughter had the chicken brothers. They had a different bread than we were before and at different places. But they liked the old bread better. I had the chicken shrimps Fajitas that were good as always. Our server was good and attentive for the 3 regular tables and 1 large table he served at the same time. We shared the melted lava cake, which was also good. Also get free chips salsa because of a football advertisement they were running that are always good.
We had a group of 6 and we were the second table to arrive. Needless to say we received our appetizers and our meals before we even received our drinks. When we talked to the manager about it he seemed annoyed and unapologetic. Come to paying our bills and we were charged for things we didn’t even receive. It was a horrible experience and we will never be back!!!!!
Although we were seemingly busy ( surprising for a legacy restaurant), we sat very fast. Eating smelled amazing after entering and has not disappointed. Everyone in our different group found something on the menu that was appealing, and everyone felt that they had made good decisions. Overall, very satisfied with the service and food.
