Early December 2019 a colleague and myself completed a 14 hour journey by road from UK to Germany by road to our pre booked hotel in Bad Sackingen, when we arrived tired, hungry and freezing, we found our Hotel locked up with no staff, no restaurant, no bar! We had no option but to drive into town 9.30pm and start going door to door, by chance we visited Chicknicks, the staff there were brilliant, they fed us, arranged rooms, drink and could not have been more helpful, the rooms were superb, clean tidy modern and far better than many I have used at twice the price! 100% recomended on all and every level. Brilliant staff and we would definately use again!
From the outside very inconspicuous place, with a cozy and harmonious atmosphere. The map is very promising and offers a good selection for everyone. The portions are great for the price. The meat was very tasty and juicy, some of the spices could have been a bit more. The sauces were good, but now nothing megaaa special! Nevertheless, we find their 5 stars earned as the concept and implementation are very good. We would like to come back and try something else through the map!
Eating is great. Well seasoned. The staff is always friendly and attentive. The hamburgers are big (my son finds this all right), Schnitzel Omega fine as well as the pommes and half the chicken very fine. We always like to come. PS Disadvantage: Keik parking nearby.
Super friendly staff (and English speaking too)! The half chicken (Chick Chick) is very nice while the fried chicken thigh (NFC Hähnchenteile) is even more stunning! Together with the tasty bread, it’s absolutely super for the price too! Highly recommended!
