"The best Vietnamese restaurant in Marseille. Although the place does not pay a mine, the kitchen is excellent and we find the authentic taste of Vietnam. I especially recommend pho soup and shrimp sauce"

This tiny restaurant is a must no matter how short your stay in Marseille. First of all, the food is authentic and carefully prepared by the chef, waitress, and owner, a sweet, kind Vietnamese woman. Secondly the price quality ratio is tremendous. We had two appetizers, two main dishes, and a bottle of the house rose for 30€. The atmosphere is so welcoming and relaxed that you feel like you are eating in the the owner's living room. We went there twice during our 5 day stay. The second time we went we just asked her to make some recommendations because she told us the first time we were there that she goes to the market everyday to buy the prime material.A true highlight of trip!

Went here based on Yelp & Tripadvisor reviews, but I certainly do not understand what the buzz is all about:Saturday evening at 9 p.m. there was nobody inside (which should have told me something), the waiter was not very friendly or particularly helpful. The food was ok, but I've made it better myself; the place isn't very clean or inviting and we had to wait quite long before the food came, but then the starters and main dishes where served almost instantly one after the other. In the end, the prices where quite high, for the quantity and quality of the food presented.Whatever it was that made this place great before, it seems to have lost it since.
