You cannot fail to leave here happy. This small restaurant made a big impression thanks to the lady running it. She serves and cooks simple, home-cooked regional dishes. The small menu changes daily and is diverse. The night we went the mains included kidneys, duck and chicken. All were served with sautéed potatoes and a tasty cauliflower cheese gratin. The set menus are very reasonable and available in the evening. Three courses will set you back just under 26 euros. This is far from your standard tourist trap. The tomato and mozzarella starter stood out for the quality of the fresh ingredients. This restaurant is away from the main square, but the friendly ambience more than makes up for the lack of view. It is a few minutes walk away from the Musée Bonnard. The restaurant inside is small and cozy with a few additional tables outside. You are just off the main road, so if you do sit outside there is some traffic noise. It is not open on the weekend, but is open daily from Monday to Friday for lunch and dinner. If you are looking for an authentic neighbourhood restaurant that delivers service with a smile this one certainly fits the bill.
