I've always wanted to eat at Cheesetique and I've finally got to go. I don't know that it was all that I've ever expected or desired, but I did enjoy myself. I can recommend the fried cheese curds. They are delicious. The wine flight that I had was okay, and surely there are greater selections to choose from considering how much wine is there. My dinner was great and the server was attentive. The establishment is very clean, but not very big, so you are sitting not too far
I hardly ever write reviews, but I'm making an exception here. Let me preface by saying, as a cheese lover I was very excited to try this restaurant. We drove from over an hour away just to come to this restaurant. I made a reservation online for 8:45pm (earliest we could get there) and yes, I realized they closed at 9pm but I figured maybe they just seat until 9 since there was a 8:45 timeslot available for reservations. First time here. I ate way too much!!! I got the sassy goat sandwich. It was great!! I went wrong with getting the warm olives appetizer... not because it wasn 't good but because I ate TOO much! Everything was wonderful!! The service was excellent. The drinks were great too. This was a treat in DC area for a great dinner. Come early and browse the amazing cheeses and wines they have in the front of the shop.
This is one of my favorite spots in Shirlington. The staff is always friendly and the wine flights are always tasty. Last time we went we got the sassy goat grilled cheese, mac and cheese. And tomato soup.
