Chateau Le Mas De Montet

We held our wedding at the idyllic Le Mas de Montet, and we cannot say enough wonderful things about the entire experience. Between the magnificent chateau, gorgeous grounds, beautifully decorated rooms, and the welcoming and hospitable owners, it was a perfect three-day event from start to finish. Le Mas is one of those rare chateaus that looks striking and impressive (both inside and outside) but also manages to be extremely comfortable and quickly feels like home. Our wedding guests absolutely LOVED the chateau, too, and are already plotting a future stay. The owners are an absolute joy to work with and were incredibly flexible rescheduling our wedding date (three times during the pandemic, for which we are forever grateful. In summary, you will not find a more perfect chateau, and Le Mas forever holds a special spot in our hearts.

On my offer a gourmet weekend gift box for my 50 years (2007) and I chose as place the mas de montet very good reception the very good gourmet meal (Périgord) and wine as well. The very stylish room year 1850 with a large bed baldaquin antique armchair. The chateau lounge really beautiful. The owners kept the charm and originality to the wonderful castle weekend.

Beautiful setting, room was superb. Staff were very hospitable, and nothing was too much bother. Highly recommend and will definitely visit again.

A must-see place on the banks of the river Dronne between Périgord and south Charente. Very nice reception room.
