Chateau de la Commanderie

my man and our two-year-old man were in juli two nights long. beautiful location and properties with extensive gardens and a beautiful pool. the personal could not have been more helpful to receive our request for a cot and a terrace so that we could somewhere to...escape when our daughter slept. the restaurant is closed on a Sunday and Monday, but they can order italian that we ate in the gardens or take a walk into the place. the château is perfect for the exploration of the alps near; the owner recommended a trip through the national park vercours, which integrates some of the most breathtaking landmarks I have seen. only the reason why we did not give 5 stars was eating in the restaurant not on our taste, but that is personal preference. the wine list was good and offers both quality and price a good choice. it is recommended to stay here an antidote too central in grenoble.

Dining in the great hall of the chateau. Definitely a big plus for atmosphere. The restaurant offers menus at various prices. We had the extended menu at 58 euros. For this we got 4 courses. The dishes were well cooked and the plates were nicely...decorated with herbs and small flowers. The quantity of food on each of the dishes was very low. They seemed to compensate this by constantly offering new bread on the side. Bread was served dry without butter or olive oil. There was no ‘amuse’ to start with. Taste was very nice, not special. They offer a reasonably sized wine list with some very nice wines. This also comes at a price. Bottles are from around 45 euros upwards. Overall price quality ratio on the high side. Very good service by a relatively young team.

Wir wählen dieses Hotel stets als Zwischenstopp auf der Fahrt in die Provence und werden dies auch weiterhin tun. Das Hotel gefällt uns sehr gut und bislang waren wir auch mit dem Restaurant zufrieden. Diesmal gab es aber eine herbe Enttäuschung. Nach zwei sehr leckeren Vorspeisen gab es 'Pave de Thon Snacke' und die Thunfischscheiben kamen fast roh auf den Tisch. Während meine Frau ihre Portion gegessen hat, aber nicht mit sehr viel Begeisterung, kam meine Portion wohl noch einmal in die Mikrowelle und dann hatte ich den Genuss eines recht bissfesten Fisches. Wir werden wohl beim nächsten Mal auf Fisch verzichten.

Alors là, je vais me lâcher! J'ai rarement rencontré une équipe aussi sympathique emmenée par Guy, un patron super dynamique et sympathique, généreux ( au sens littérale) et drôle ! Après renseignement, il est toujours comme ça. Et tout ça fut la moitié du plaisir d'être à la Commanderie! L'autre partie était évidemment la nourriture ! Repas de poissons excellents, les desserts: deux délices ! À refaire très, très, très vite!
