Château De La Borde

I expected a lot from this meal and I must say that I am not really satisfied. I had organized it for my 80th birthday so it was important and I wanted it to be successful. For the occasion, I would have liked a nice table. This one was set up, directly on the wood, without a tablecloth and with simple paper napkins. The cuisine is quite good, but banal and lacking in originality or inventiveness. For the birthday dessert I had no possible choice. There was just a very average cake that I didn't like at all. There was an effort on the candles! And the arrival of dessert!! The waitress did her job well. In general, the reception remains cold and impersonal. Overall, I'm pretty disappointed. Too bad, the Chateau is pleasant, but the downstairs room does not have the cachet of the room on the 1st floor. Vegetarian options: Good food for vegetarians

One of the best or the best restaurant in the area. The quality of the products and the plating are very good, although for my taste a little lacking. The interior is cozy (nothing else) but if you are lucky enough to eat outside it is beautiful .Nice place to go with your partner. It also has rooms. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
