Champy's Famous Fried Chicken

I enjoy Chanpy's! Have been to two before this one. Always good. We got fried green tomatoes for an app! It was about 10 of them. They were delicious. Wife got the chicken and I got the fish. Fish was good not great. Hush puppies are huge. Mac and cheese was great and mashed potatoes were great as well. Wife had fries and they were excellent, chicken is wonderful and the honey mustard has a kick. Over all good was a really enjoyable experience. The decor in the restaurant is neat. Found myself looking at all the different things. Old cigarette machine is a cool thing to have. Elvis posters, Virginia slim sign, BB King memorabilia, this place makes a great game of find the _____ game. Parking seems more then enough. This place is probably packed on Friday nights, Saturday and Sunday after church. It was semi busy when I was there! Five stars because wife loved it!

Never had a bad experience at Champy's until recently and unfortunately we found a worm in our food. I remained calm asked for the check after informing them. We had a few people bring the plate back and fourth asking us to show them the worm after they had already dug through it. I showed the first waitress. After that point i was feeling a little queezy and was ready to get out of there. First time eating the Muscle Shoals location and we were disappointed:

Great chicken spot. Also have had crawfish here on special. This trip we ordered 2 piece chicken with 2 sides (both were great) and fried catfish plate. Husband liked the catfish and I enjoyed the chicken. Staff was attentive and friendly. Outside seating.

No need for a drawn out review. Outstanding experience top to bottom! Looking forward to another visit next time I'm in Muscle Shaols.

Came in about two weekends ago with a party of six and enjoyed our visit very much.
