"Loved the pork ramen. Place is very small, you might need to wait on one of their 5 tables to free up before you can be seated. Great authentic menu. Appetizers includes gyoza, yummy rice bowls, homemade roasted pork and Octopus balls (Tonkatsu) . They offer a wide selection of Ramen including soy based broth, miso, chicken, beef, along with the famous pork broth.. They aslo offer a decent collection of draft and bottled Japanese beers and Saki."

This restaurant is not the same as it used to be. I'm not sure if the original owners have left. I ordered the Tonkotsu ramen and was disappointed. The broth was watery and the eggs were overcooked instead of soft boiled. Overcooked eggs in ramen are just as bad as being served overcooked steak at a fine restaurant. The cha shu (pork slices) were thin and looked more like dog treats than the thick and decent slices I remember. I even ordered an extra slice of pork for $1.50 and immediately regretted it. This used to be the place where I first tried authentic ramen and loved it, but now it's a shadow of its former self. I'm sure some people may still enjoy this place, but it's a definite pass for me now. I think the owners should consider revamping the menu to offer dishes they know how to make, or hire a chef who understands Japanese cuisine. Honestly, I believe I could have made a better bowl of ramen at home. I left feeling like I wasted my money, which was a huge disappointment for me.

New Update I ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen which I have ordered in the past. This time I was very disappointed. The prices have gotten more expensive and quality and portion size has gone down. Barely any protein, not enough broth so when they put the chili oil it over powered everything. The noodles were good though. However after I ate it I was still hungry... I haven't been here in awhile This use to be a go to place for me. I'm glad they updated the menu Glad they were playing Anime on their TV I love when goin to an Asian restaurant to see something good Asian playing or music. The food was good however disappointed that their Kimchi is store bought and was priced for 4 bucks. Server I felt needs further training. This place has a lot of potential however still needs some fine tuning.

I’d heard good things about this place so I was excited to try. It was an average experience at best. The pork belly and rice was mostly just rice. I thought maybe they made a mistake I ordered the gyoza, the first one was cold in the middle so I sent them back. The wait staff seemed completely unconcerned. I ended up just getting up and grabbing condiments if I wanted them because they seemed totally uninterested. I’m giving it 3 stars cos the food was pretty good but unless I’m desperate I wouldn’t eat here again.

Servers are really nice and the service is amazing but unfortunately, we did not enjoy the food. Very small, quaint place. They don't let you have more than 4 people with you and there is no to go orders unless you pack up what you ordered. Pretty pricey for the food you get. The drinks are also pretty costly. There is not a big selection of food to choose from. There is no big sign to tell you where they are, you have to look for it on the door decals.
